How to get to AMBAR in Barcelona

For the simplest arrival, take a taxi from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 and give the driver Rambla de Catalunya, 124. By metro, take L9 Sud from Aeroport T1 or Aeroport T2 to Zona Universitaria, change to L3 toward Trinitat Nova, and get off at Diagonal. From Diagonal, walk down Rambla de Catalunya to number 124.

If you use the airport train from Terminal 2, Passeig de Gracia is the most useful central stop. From there, walk or take a short taxi.

From Sants Estacio, take L5 toward Vall d'Hebron and get off at Diagonal. Exit toward Rambla de Catalunya and walk to number 124. If you have luggage, a taxi from the station is direct and usually easier.

Sants is the main station for high-speed and long-distance trains, so leave extra time if you are arriving during peak travel hours.

For cruise arrivals, a taxi is the clearest option because terminals can be spread across Moll Adossat and nearby port areas. Ask for Rambla de Catalunya, 124. If you first reach the Drassanes or La Rambla area, take L3 toward Zona Universitaria and get off at Diagonal.

Cruise disembarkation can be slow. Book with a time buffer rather than placing the massage immediately after docking.

From Diagonal metro, exit toward Rambla de Catalunya or Passeig de Gracia. Walk south on Rambla de Catalunya until you reach number 124.

This is the easiest reference point for taxis and metro arrivals.

From Liceu or Drassanes, take L3 toward Zona Universitaria and get off at Diagonal. From the Gothic Quarter, you can also walk to Catalunya and continue up Rambla de Catalunya if the weather is comfortable.

Late at night, taxi is usually more comfortable and keeps the arrival private.

If you are near Casa Batllo or Passeig de Gracia station, walk north toward Diagonal, then turn onto Rambla de Catalunya. You can also take L3 one stop to Diagonal.

This is a good route after dinner, shopping, or a hotel stay around the luxury shopping area.

Take L5 from Sagrada Familia toward Cornella Centre and get off at Diagonal. Exit toward Rambla de Catalunya and walk to number 124.

This is one of the cleanest landmark routes because it stays on one metro line.

From Gracia, move toward Fontana or Diagonal depending on where you are. From Park Guell, a taxi is usually the simplest. If you are already near L3, travel to Diagonal and walk to AMBAR.

Park Guell streets are hilly, so taxi is often better if you are coming straight after sightseeing.

A taxi is direct from the beach area. By metro, take L4 from Barceloneta to Passeig de Gracia, change to L3, and continue one stop to Diagonal, or walk from Passeig de Gracia if you prefer.

If you are coming after the beach, allow time to shower and arrive relaxed.

From Fira or Europa-Fira, use L9 Sud toward Zona Universitaria, then change to L3 toward Trinitat Nova and get off at Diagonal. A taxi is easier if you are leaving an event with luggage or formal clothing.

Conference evenings can create taxi demand, so book with a margin.
